Pigment Rivers

Particles that use the underlying image as a flow-field. The hue and the brightness of the pixels influence their motion. Whilst flowing over the surface they erode the image and pick up parts of the underlying pigments.

The x position of the mouse controls the general direction, the y position varies the amount of meandering.
